Cross Stitching & Glass Painting for Sisters

LEARN A NEW CREATIVE SKILL THIS SUMMER! Creative projects not only stimulate mental processes, but they also develop finger/hand dexterity. In addition, creative projects make great presents for both friends and family. Several opportunities are available to sisters this summer. See our 5 exciting classes for different skill levels and different ages. All Classes meet Monday - Thursday, July 14 - July 17, 2008 (one week) Select link for timings



Beginning Youth Counted Cross Stitch Class

Learn the basic stitch while you create a project! There will be several to choose from. Open to youth from 4th grade to rising 9th graders.
Class meets from 9am - 10am.
All supplies provided including 1-2 extra patterns for future projects.
 

Adult Sisters' Beginning Counted Cross Stitch Class

Learn the basic stitch while you create a project! There will be several to choose from. Open to sisters who have completed 9th grade to all adult ages.
Class meets from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.
All supplies provided including 1-2 extra patterns for future projects. Please make prior arrangements for childcare.

Adult Sisters' Intermediate and Advanced Counted Cross Stitch Class

Improve your basic skills and then take them to the next level! Basic counted cross stitch experience required. Level determined by instructor on first day. Create either an intermediate or an advanced project. There will be several to choose from. Open to sisters who have completed ninth grade through all adult years.
Class meets from 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
All supplies provided including 1-2 extra patterns for future projects. Outside work will be necessary to finish project by end of week. Please make prior arrangements for childcare.

Youth Beginning Glass Painting

Discover the world of painted glass! Create your own project - both transfer design and permanent glass projects will be available to complete during the week. Open to youth ages 8 to 14.
Class meets from 10am - 11am.
All supplies provided and 1-2 additional patterns will be provided for future projects.

Adult Sisters' Beginning Glass Painting

Discover the world of painted glass! Create your own project - both transfer design and permanent glass projects will be available to complete during the week. Open to all sisters who are at least 15 years old through all adult years.

Class meets from 11am through 12pm.
All supplies provided and 1-2 additional patterns will be provided for future projects. Please make prior arrangements for childcare.

Fee Structure

Fee per class(includes supplies): $29

You can register and pay for the summer camp online by clicking on and filling out our Youth&Adult Programs Online Registration Form and Online Payment under Related Item(s) below.  You can also visit the front office of Al-Huda School during school hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
