Summer Work - Teachers needed

Dar-us-Salaam is looking for teachers and teacher's assistants to work in its Summer Programs, 2008 (June 23 - August 1, 2008).  We are offering over 10 exciting full-time and part-time programs.  We are looking for male and female teachers in the following areas:

We are looking for dedicated, energetic and hardworking individuals to come and work at our fulltime K-10th grade Islamic School. Applicants must have a minimum of a BA in Education or a BA and at least 3 years of teaching. Teaching Certification is a plus.

Arabic, Qur'an and/or Islamic Studies Teachers (Al-Huda School) for 2008-2009

Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Arabic language or Islamic studies.

Hifzh School Teacher (Hifzh School)

We are seeking huffazh who can teach in the full-time Hifzh School (brothers and sisters). Applicants should have memorized the Qur'an with Tajweed and have 1-3 years experience in teaching the Qur'an. Note the Hifzh School has a brothers section and a sisters section.

Preschool Teacher (Al-Huda Preschool)

We are seeking teachers for our preschool. Qualifications for Senior Staff ranking are: 90 hours of Preschool training and 1 year of experience in a licensed Preschool and a high school diploma.

Preschool Director (Al-Huda Preschool)

Bachelor's in any area with the 90 hour Preschool training and 2 years of experience in a licensed Preschool or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Fundraiser (Dar-us-Salaam)
Dar-us-Salaam is seeking a Brother willing to travel, deliver khutbahs and raise funds to support its many programs and projects
