Looking for a good way to spend a few hours? Try volunteering this month at the soup kitchen! Volunteers help serve food to those in need.

The Third Monday of Every Month, from 3:45pm-7:00pm

Mark your calendars! Help serve those in need at a soup kitchen in Washington, DC. To join, please meet in the front office of Al-Huda School on the third Monday of each month, at 3:45pm. Email the Islamic Information Center at info@LearnAboutIslam.org or call 301-982-9463 for more info. Make this part of your regular da'wah and join us on the third Monday of every month!

Details:
We normally travel together to the soup kitchen, which is located in Washington, DC. If you prefer you can also meet us there. The Judiciary Square metro stop (red line) is one block away, and there is limited on-street, metered parking. The address is: First Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 E. Street NW, Washington, DC. For more info about the soup kitchen, see www.dphw.org. Brothers and sisters are both needed & encouraged to volunteer! Students can earn community service hours.
